How EzSchools collects, uses and protects information.
1. Who we are
EzSchools provides cloud ERP software for schools and coaching institutes in India. This policy explains how we handle information on www.ezschools.in and inside the EzSchools platform.
2. Information from website visitors
When you book a demo or contact us, we collect the details you enter — name, institute name, phone number, email, city and your message — and use them only to reply, arrange a demo and share information about EzSchools. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to understand which pages are useful; you can block these cookies in your browser settings.
3. Data inside the platform
Each school or coaching institute owns the data it stores in EzSchools — students, parents, staff, fees, attendance, marks and messages. We process that data only to provide the service to that institute, keep every institute's data separate, and never sell, rent or use it for advertising.
4. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Passwords are stored hashed, every login is limited by role and per-action permissions, and important changes are written to an audit log. Parents and students see only their own records.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run EzSchools — hosting, payment gateways, SMS, WhatsApp and email delivery — and only for that purpose, or when the law requires it.
6. Retention & your rights
Institutes can export their data to Excel at any time and receive a full export when they leave. Parents and students should contact their school or institute to see, correct or delete their information. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
7. Children
Student records are added by schools and institutes with the consent of parents or guardians, and are used only for education and administration.
